As a Senior Cost Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates, monitor project budgets, analyze cost variances, and provide valuable insights to optimize project costs. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain cost management tools and processes to support the full project lifecycle, including project planning, estimating, forecasting, and tracking.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and update project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports.
Identify and analyze project cost drivers and risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
Lead the development of project cost models, including assumptions and variables for sensitivity analysis.
Track and report project financial metrics and key performance indicators, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
Conduct benchmarking and industry analysis to support continuous improvement of cost management practices.
Ensure compliance with project cost management policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or related field.
8+ years of experience in cost engineering, project controls, or related field. Oil and gas and/or renewable energy is preferred.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in developing and managing complex cost models.
Experience in developing and implementing cost management processes and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other cost management software tools.
