Senior Manager - Capital Project Management

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager with a proven track record of success in program management, specifically in the construction industry, to join our team. As a Senior Manager - Program Management (Construction Industry), you will be responsible for leading and managing consulting projects for our clients in the construction industry. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide strategic advice to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale programs for clients in the construction industry, including developing program plans, managing budgets, and delivering high-quality work products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives in the construction industry.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and research to develop recommendations and solutions that address client needs in the construction industry.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff on project teams, providing guidance and support as needed in the construction industry.
  • Work closely with clients in the construction industry to understand their business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct assessments of program operations in the construction industry to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize program schedules, budgets, and resources in the construction industry.
  • Collaborate with other consultants and subject matter experts to develop and deliver cross-functional projects for clients in the construction industry.
  • Oversee project teams and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations in the construction industry.
  • Manage client relationships, identify additional business opportunities in the construction industry, and develop proposals and sales pitches to win new business.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other managers and staff within the organization in the construction industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, with experience in consulting preferred and construction industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in the construction industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in the construction industry.
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior staff in the construction industry.
  • Experience in program management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Trello in the construction industry.
  • Experience in program governance, risk management, and change management in the construction industry.

Base Salary Range: 124,000 - 170,000 per year
